v1.3.6

Improved

  • On a share page, the story outline and chapter list now live in the sidebar, matching the rest of the app, leaving more room for the text you're reading.
  • In the Tale Machine, the opening movement's model tale and target length change: the exercise now asks for a reduction that's actually consistent with the model provided, instead of a target shorter than the text you're asked to imitate.
  • If you're mid-way through the Tale Machine's opening movement, restart your run with "Continue on my manuscript" to pick up the updated brief; every word you've already written stays.
  • In a training run, a new "Continue on my manuscript" action picks up your already-written piece under the track's current curriculum, without the old workaround of setting the run aside and resuming it separately; every word you've already written stays, only progress and readings restart from the beginning.
  • The Atelier is no longer limited to a beta-tester list: every writer can now reach it from the sidebar and their writer profile, and the catalogue also shows upcoming beta tracks, locked, as a preview of what's coming.
  • A beta reader's comment can now anchor to a passage spanning several consecutive paragraphs, instead of being clamped to only the paragraph where the selection starts.
  • On a share page, a beta reader can now leave a general comment on a whole chapter or on the entire manuscript, in addition to the existing passage-anchored comment; both new levels show up distinctly on your feedback page.

Fixed

  • The banner announcing the launch discount now clearly stands out from the rest of the interface, and the annual price shown reflects the discount actually applied instead of the catalog price.
  • When your subscription no longer allows writing, the error message now shows properly translated instead of a raw technical key, and a banner warns you as soon as you open the editor or your collection, before you start typing.
  • On the feedback triage page, the comment's timestamp now appears next to the reader's name, matching the manuscript's comments panel; and from that panel, a new "Back to feedback" button takes you straight back to the originating share's triage page.

v1.3.5

New

  • The Atelier now splits into two tabs: "My runs" gathers every run you're working on or have set aside, with its progress, when you last worked on it, and its volume (pages, words, readings), and "Catalogue" stays the place to discover a new track.
  • You can now delete a run from "My runs": you're offered a choice between keeping the pages you've already written (they rejoin "My projects") or deleting them along with the run, with the word count always shown before you confirm.

Fixed

  • A Journal-type project could be shared with an outside reader like any other piece of writing; that's no longer possible, a journal being a private space by nature.
  • After your free trial ended, some screens (like Sharing) showed a loading error instead of opening; writing, editing, and sharing your manuscript now stay fully available after the trial, with only Prima Lectio readings requiring a paid plan.

v1.3.4

New

  • When starting the Memoir track, a third door opens: "I already have a project here". Hand the track a project you are already writing — nothing is copied or moved, it stays in "My projects" and opens as before, and your coach composes your next moves from the pages already there.
  • A weekly email now sums up your writing week — words written, sessions, practice days, your current streak, Prima Lectio readings, reader and circle feedback, worklist items you cleared — or, after a week with no writing, points you back to the piece that needs it most. On by default, it turns off in one click from your preferences or the email's unsubscribe link.
  • Terms of Sale are now published, covering the free trial, Stripe billing, and cancelling from your account.

Improved

  • The Novel, Long-form Essay, and Micro Essay Collection project types are now open to every account, no longer limited to beta accounts: you can create all three like any other project type.
  • Each piece in your collection that already has a saved version now shows its current version number under its title, so you can see your manuscript's progress at a glance without opening every piece.
  • The prompt handed off to your AI client now names the exact task it just created, instead of only the piece's or track's title — for every request (a Prima Lectio reading, a piece review, a Matière derivation, a track review, the premise, the writer profile) as well as the pending tasks listed in your settings. If your AI client does not accept a pre-filled prompt (ChatGPT, another client), the copied prompt still names the piece.
  • When a new version of Inklyne goes live, an "Update available" notice now lets you reload when you choose, instead of the page reloading on its own at an unexpected moment; the reload still waits for a pause in your typing. Clicking the version number in the sidebar checks for an update right away.
  • The "Release notes" page can now be filtered by area — Editor, Prima Lectio, Beta readers & sharing, Workshops. Picking one acts like a search: across the whole history, it keeps only the changes that touched that area, and the resulting link can be shared as-is.
  • "Your Journey" has been reworked to better guide your first steps on Inklyne.
  • In your writer profile, a family you have shown nothing on yet reads "Not yet assessed" instead of "Novice": an absence of evidence is not a rank.
  • On a project shared with you, the settings page is no longer offered: reaching it sends you back to the project's home instead of showing a form that would refuse every change.
  • The handle you drag to move a paragraph is now easier to grab, with a finger or a mouse.
  • In the margins, an annotation card now offers a "Go to text" button to reach the cited passage by keyboard — that button, rather than the whole card, is what the Tab key reaches.
  • The Tale Machine has evolved on several fronts: a new opening movement for retelling a classic tale from eight annotated models, a choice between the provided scenario and your own story at each movement, and voice feedback that now varies from one movement to the next.
  • Sealing a movement, or completing a training run, now requires a final Prima Lectio reading of its last stage — you can no longer seal one that was never read, on any track.
  • In the margins of an Atelier exercise, an intent your coach has already judged now shows that verdict instead of your own status.
  • On a training run's page, "Set this run aside" frees up the track's slot without losing your pages or progress — you can pick a set-aside run back up exactly where you left it, and find every set-aside run from the Atelier's home page.
  • "Get my pages back", which moves a run's pages into "My projects" without resuming it, is now offered on a set-aside run too, not only a completed one.
  • Your expired or cancelled subscription always keeps reading and exporting your manuscript, whatever your account's state — that guarantee is now an explicit product commitment, not a side effect.
  • When your session expires, you're redirected to sign-in with a message explaining why, and you land back on the page you were reading once you're signed in again.
  • Buying an annual Complete subscription now applies the launch discount automatically at checkout, with no code to enter.
  • A dead link now shows an Inklyne-branded error page, with a way back to the homepage or the article you were looking for, instead of a generic, unbranded error screen.

Fixed

  • The app installed on your phone no longer shows a 404 error after a new version goes live: the version you are using keeps working normally until you choose to reload.
  • Importing a Word (.docx) document now rejoins paragraphs that were split by manual line breaks — for lines of ordinary length; very short lines, such as a part title or a scene break, are never merged — matching what already happened for .odt files.
  • A forced save ("Save anyway") that fails now tells you so, instead of looking like it succeeded.
  • Closing the tab in the middle of a writing session no longer drops the deleted words or the last minute of activity from the session's statistics.
  • The "Back to writing" button now correctly resumes a paused session instead of doing nothing.
  • In the Atelier, a movement no longer asks you to read the previous movement's closing essay again as its opening read.
  • Clicking "Brainstorm it with your coach" more than once for your premise no longer starts a fresh task each time: while one is already in progress, reopening your AI client returns you to that same one.
  • When no AI client is connected, "Brainstorm it with your coach" now offers to connect one instead of appearing to do nothing.
  • The training track's name shown during a review now matches the app's language, instead of sometimes appearing in another one.
  • Verdict explanations and your writing-profile portrait — including its past versions — now keep their paragraph breaks instead of running together as one block of text.
  • From "Your Journey", "Start writing" now really opens a session (and offers to create a project if you have none yet); the Community's Invite tab no longer raises an error when opened, and its QR code is drawn again.
  • In the margins, a scene boundary's level control is no longer clipped when the outline and the margins panel are both open at the same time.
  • On the "Connected apps" settings page, every kind of task handed to your AI client is now translated, including the ones that were still missing.
  • Opening the analyzed-text panel (a Prima Lectio reading or human feedback) no longer resizes the page behind it — it now overlays instead, with no shift and no dead space on wide screens.
  • On your piece and collection pages, the side panel (Synopsis, Sharing, Notes, Manuscript history) now stays visible while you scroll a long list, instead of disappearing off the top of the screen.
  • A piece's "Feedback" page now shows a breadcrumb back to the piece, and switching from one piece to another no longer briefly shows the previous piece's feedback.
  • The Prima Lectio reading-stance selector no longer snaps back while you're changing it, and on the reading page a newly unlocked stance now appears without having to reload the page.
  • Prima Lectio readings run by your connected AI client no longer count against your analysis quota, and can no longer fail under a focused reading stance (Scenes, Characters, or Style).
  • A point you've dismissed can no longer resurface in a reading's synthesis just because its wording changes punctuation or accents.
  • The "Release notes" page no longer briefly shows its dates in English while loading, and on the blog an article's publication date now follows the app's language rather than your device's.
  • Hovering over a comment card in the margins no longer highlights a different paragraph than the one it is actually anchored to.
  • A reader comment no longer mistakenly re-anchors itself onto a paragraph that was entirely rewritten: automatic re-anchoring now requires real closeness to the original passage.
  • A page that used to hang on "Loading…" when the server never responded now shows an error after 30 seconds, instead of staying stuck indefinitely.
  • A Prima Lectio reading handled by your connected AI client for an English manuscript is no longer filed as a French reading by mistake.
  • A paragraph edited in the editor could no longer silently disappear on save: a failed save now fails visibly instead of reporting success while text was lost.
  • Importing a Word or OpenDocument file no longer makes the paragraph after an unstyled part title disappear.
  • Importing a document over 4 MB used to fail with a generic error even though the advertised limit is 50 MB; that's fixed.
  • Returning to writing now places the cursor on the last empty paragraph of your manuscript, instead of the first empty paragraph found anywhere in the document, including an open note.
  • The premise reminder for your movement, which could disappear depending on the step, is visible again at all times, above the step tracker and in the writing room's Intentions panel.
  • The cookie-consent banner no longer pre-checks the advertising and personalization categories; only the strictly-necessary category is on by default, and your choice is respected immediately.
  • Cancelling your subscription now ends write access and AI readings on the expected date instead of keeping them by mistake, and the prompt to upgrade to a paid plan now shows clearly instead of appearing empty.
  • Trying to resume or start a training run that's already active elsewhere now shows a clear message instead of a generic error.
  • Adopting a project from an abandoned run now makes it appear correctly in "My projects" and warns you if the sync fails; resuming an abandoned run restarts the task handed to your AI coach instead of leaving it with nothing to do.
  • A reading step whose content fails to load now shows a clear unavailable state, instead of an empty, stuck card.
  • The promo-code box is visible again at checkout when no discount applies automatically.
  • A long network interruption during a login refresh or an import upload no longer freezes the app or risks duplicating your manuscript; it now fails cleanly after a few seconds.

Retired

  • The public site's waitlist and feedback forms have been retired; they were no longer in use.

v1.3.3

Improved

  • A piece's sidebar now gathers every reading under one "Readings" section: the Prima Lectio reading on one side, and a new "Feedback" page on the other, collecting the human eyes on your piece — writing circles and beta readers — in one place.
  • The cards in your collection's right rail (Matière, Notes, Entities) now share the same collapsible presentation, and on a scene or plan card the Prima Lectio dimension pills sit to the right, giving the title room to breathe.
  • You can now set a piece's "Reading stance" — "Not there yet" (the default: the coach never proposes an ending) or "Complete" (the landing can be judged) — and once your Core and Structure lenses are solid, unlock a sharper focus in turn on Scenes, then Characters and Style.
  • Annotation cards (personal notes, Prima Lectio, reader comments) no longer show their quoted excerpt by default; hovering or selecting a card now highlights the passage directly in your manuscript instead, and you can still expand the excerpt whenever you want.
  • On your collection page, the "Manuscript History" card now folds versions from the same writing session behind a single row, the way the History lane in the margins already does, so a busy session no longer clutters the list.
  • The entity picker in your Matière now stays open after you add one, so you can add several in a row without reopening it each time.

Fixed

  • The "Streak Master" and "Iron Will" badges only triggered on weeks with zero missed days, while the streak actually shown to you only asks for one writing day per week; a writer on a genuine 3- or 8-week streak could earn one and never receive the badge. That's now fixed, and affected accounts are retroactively awarded the badge they'd earned.
  • A Writing Circle round could get stuck for good if its creator never closed it in time: nobody could submit a new piece or open the next round. Once its window closes, the round now wraps up automatically and a fresh one opens right after.
  • On mobile, the progress ring around your avatar in the sidebar could stretch into an oval; it now stays perfectly circular.
  • On mobile, tapping the active-session pill could do nothing, and putting the app in the background would resume counting writing time once you came back instead of staying paused; both are now fixed.
  • Words written just before putting the app in the background could be counted twice in the session's stats; every word now counts exactly once.
  • Coming back from a Prima Lectio reading to its piece no longer reloads the whole page, and now scrolls to the card in question.
  • In the training track, the classroom move navigation now stays docked to the bottom of the screen on mobile, and the writing-profile facets line up cleanly on large screens.

v1.3.2

New

  • A new icon in the sidebar lets you report a bug or suggest a feature in one click, next to the version number, which now sits at the opposite end of the header.
  • From your collection page, the stats card now has a "View history" link that takes you straight to that project's writing session history — until now, nothing in the app actually led there.
  • When someone shares a manuscript with you directly, you now also get an email about it, in addition to the in-app notification.
  • Depositing a new piece into a Writing Circle round now emails every other active member of the circle; you don't get an email for your own submission.

Improved

  • An entity mention in your text now shows as a small colored dot in the margin instead of a full note card; clicking it opens a menu to see the entity, open its sheet, remove the mention, or add a new one for the whole paragraph.
  • You can now give an entity in your Matière one or more aliases; Inklyne then spots those aliases in your text and offers each mention for you to confirm or dismiss, one at a time or in bulk for a whole chapter.
  • From an entity's own sheet in your Matière, clicking one of its passages now takes you straight to that exact paragraph in your manuscript, instead of just naming it.
  • The Entities lane in the margins now shows an "In this chapter" section: every character and element mentioned in the open piece, with a hover to spot them in the text and a click to step from one mention to the next.
  • When your text mentions a character or place you haven't formally linked to that piece yet, their sheet now shows how many times they've come up, with one click to turn that presence into a proper relationship.
  • Any remark from your Prima Lectio coach that cites a specific paragraph — not just the items on your worklist — now also becomes an annotation anchored right there in your margins.
  • In the analyzed-text panel, a passage's highlight now stays visible until you pick another one or close the panel — it used to vanish after a few seconds — and simply hovering over a reference now shows a quick preview.
  • A session with only a tiny edit — fixing a typo, say — is now saved directly, without opening the panel that invites you to title and share it; only a session with real writing activity still opens that panel, and every session still counts whatever its size.
  • In the writing room, the sidebar now shows a simple position cue ("Move N of M") instead of the full track atlas, and the exercise brief now opens from a dedicated button instead of sitting expanded in an always-open card.
  • Once you've chosen your own premise, the exercise no longer shows its scenario suggestion — it had nothing left to offer you — and intent cards read more clearly, with the badge next to the title and the description using the card's full width.
  • Picking a track back up in the Atelier now drops you straight onto the move you were on, with a constant link back to the track overview from any step.
  • In the History lane of the margins, the version list now refreshes automatically as new versions appear while you keep writing, instead of staying frozen until you switch lanes or windows.
  • Still in History, versions from the same writing session can now collapse behind a single row with a badge counting them, so a long session no longer buries the landmarks that matter — session ends, restores — under a stack of near-identical versions.
  • A note you pin to guide your Prima Lectio coach now goes through validation before it's actually taken into account: its card shows the real status — "Awaiting validation," "Refused," or "Needs revalidation" after an edit — instead of claiming a sharing that wasn't always happening.
  • When a pinned note is refused, its card explains why and offers a rewording you can apply in one click.

Fixed

  • The articles library and the Write Your Memoir track could show as private-beta-only even though they're open to everyone; only tracks still in private beta show that message now.
  • In the reading-level picker (Novice → Grandmaster), the slider's handle could point next to the level it was naming; it now lines up exactly with the right rung.
  • A writing session could pause too easily — including just from browsing your project's Matière — and wouldn't always resume when you started typing again, so much that some words went uncounted in any session; resuming is now automatic and reliable, on mobile too.
  • In the Atelier, the step asking you to attach a premise to your track could keep reappearing or reject your changes; you can now say you'd rather write without one, and change your mind while you're still on the first move.
  • Viewing your Matière's entities could crash the page if their data was incomplete or corrupted; that's now fixed.
  • On mobile, the "Write" tab's icon and label in the bottom navigation bar could become nearly invisible once the tab was active; they now stay clearly legible.
  • On a session's detail page, a missing structural landmark could make it harder for screen readers to find the main content; it's now in place.
  • In the session history list, clicking a session with no linked piece did nothing; clicking it now opens that session as expected.

v1.3.1

New

  • You can now import several files at once into a collection — one file becomes one chapter — instead of merging everything into a single document first. Handy if your memoir or novel already exists as one file per chapter: you preview the list, reorder it by drag, and can adjust each title before confirming.
  • In the Write Your Memoir track, when a review closes your last planned move, your coach now proposes 2-3 different next moves in the same sitting, instead of a single move imposed after a wait. You accept whichever ones you want, in your own order, and only those join your track.
  • On your piece's page, paragraph references in the Prima Lectio summary are now clickable and open the analyzed text at the right spot — until now, that summary offered no way to navigate from it.

Improved

  • The current version number of the chapter or piece you're working on now shows in the editor's header, next to the title, and the matching entry is marked in the History lane in the margins — no need to open the lane just to check where you are.

Fixed

  • Locking a paragraph could trigger by accident during ordinary editing — placing your cursor, selecting text, or just pausing to read. A dedicated button in the editor's right margin (and the Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+L shortcut) now triggers the lock instead, without that risk, for now from a computer.
  • The margin to the left of a paragraph didn't respond to clicks: placing your cursor at the start of a line meant aiming at the text itself, to the pixel. That margin is now part of the paragraph's target, with a mouse or a finger, and the cursor lands at the start of the line you aimed at.
  • Clicking a paragraph reference in a Prima Lectio reading ("p3", "paragraph 4"...) could open the analyzed text without scrolling to the right spot or highlighting it; both now work reliably everywhere these references appear.
  • Importing a .odt manuscript with manual line breaks could split a paragraph into several pieces, or wrongly merge distinct ones — scene breaks, part titles, epigraph lines; paragraphs now flow together naturally, the way .txt files already did, without losing real paragraph breaks.
  • If submitting your feedback to unlock the extra 7-day trial fails, the message now explains exactly why, instead of a generic error.

v1.3.0

New

  • Every chapter of your manuscript now keeps a version history: find an earlier version from the History lane in the editor's margins, and restore it in one click — an "Undo" stays one click away if you change your mind.
  • You can now leave a piece out of your collection's share: sharing a collection with your beta readers is no longer all-or-nothing.
  • You can now set the rigor level expected for a collection, from novice to grandmaster, and change it anytime from the project settings: your Prima Lectio readings are judged against it.
  • The Write Your Memoir track now opens on a single question — "Do you already have pages?": either four guided openings to get you into your story, or you drop in your notebooks and half-started chapters and your coach reads them before proposing what comes next. Nothing is created until you have answered.
  • In the editor's margins, the worklist becomes yours: you can now add your own tasks alongside the ones Prima Lectio suggests, check them off or delete them, and they stick around from one reading to the next.
  • Some articles now end with an invitation to add a read-only example project to your project list, so you can explore its notes and Matière before starting your own.
  • Your collection's table of contents can now be split into volumes or parts: set a boundary on any piece from its menu, and numbering, export, and collapsible group headers all adjust automatically.
  • An annotation in your manuscript can now carry a Prima Lectio remark projected automatically onto the passage it concerns, or a link to one of your Matière entities — whose own sheet now lists every passage where it appears.
  • The editor's margins gain an Entities lane: find the Matière characters and elements linked to the current piece there, with direct access to their sheet.
  • Your piece's page and its Prima Lectio reading now share the same five-dimension vocabulary — Core, Structure, Scenes, Characters, Style — with direct links between each part of your outline and the section of the reading that evaluates it, and an explicit verdict (nailed, emerging, or not yet) for each of your declared intents.
  • In a circle, reading a peer's submission now happens in the same experience as a regular manuscript share: chapter navigation, resume reading, and comments anchored directly in the text, with replies possible in both directions.
  • In a circle, you no longer accept or reject the feedback you receive on your text: you mark it "Received" and can discuss it directly in the margins, right where the comment is. Each synthesis stays private between you and its author — other circle members only see what they sent you themselves.

Improved

  • Importing a manuscript when creating a collection now suggests a chapter-length range based on both the shortest and longest chapters in your text, not just the longest.
  • When you've brought your own pages to a track, the track page shows what was deposited — how many texts, how many words, and their titles — and each line opens that text in the writing room.
  • Waiting on your coach is no longer mute: the track page says how long it has been working and updates itself as soon as the answer lands.
  • Being added to a share now also sends you a push notification, in addition to the one you already got in the app.
  • In a Prima Lectio reading, every point now states its weight — blocking, important, or a minor detail — so a small nit no longer reads as a major alarm.
  • A point you've explicitly dismissed in a Prima Lectio reading no longer comes back in a later reading, and a reading can stay short when nothing warrants one more remark.
  • A comment — yours, a reader's, or a Prima Lectio remark — now stays anchored to its passage even after you edit the text around it, and clearly flags itself if it genuinely can't be found anymore, with a way to reattach it by hand. New reader comments also now show a badge in the editor's margins.
  • A save that fails now retries automatically in the background, with an honest indicator and message only if the failure actually persists.
  • Everywhere you hand off to your AI assistant — review, planning, Matière, profile, premise... — the gesture now always does the same thing in one click: create the task, copy the prompt, open your client, with a message that makes clear nothing happens until you open it yourself.
  • In a collection's sharing panel, the detailed piece list now opens in its own dialog from a compact summary, instead of taking over the whole panel.
  • The release notes page now has a navigation rail that follows your reading, and a search box over the notes' own content — titles and bullets — not just version numbers.

Fixed

  • Leaving the editor before it finished loading could freeze scrolling across the entire app until a full page reload; this no longer happens.
  • A network hiccup, like a request being retried automatically, could sometimes log you out for no reason; this no longer happens.
  • For French text, the editor no longer forces a capital letter after a "?" or "!" inside a dialogue tag (as in "— Tu viens ? demanda-t-elle."); a period still triggers a capital as before.
  • In the editor, ⌘S / Ctrl+S used to open the browser's save dialog instead of saving your text; the shortcut now forces an immediate save.
  • A track article's call to action dropped you on the track's preview screen, where you had to find a second button — or on a red error with no explanation if the track wasn't open to your account yet. The link now enrols you directly, and a track that isn't open yet says so.
  • Re-inviting a reader whose access you'd revoked could show them twice in the sharing panel with two contradictory statuses, or still list them as already invited when you searched to add them again; their status now shows correctly everywhere.
  • Following a link to a specific version's entry on this page could land you somewhere else on the page; this no longer happens.
  • Accepting Prima Lectio's proposed scene breakdown could fail outright at the smallest bit of text drift since the reading; scenes that can still be found are now kept automatically, and you're told precisely by name if one of them can't be.
  • Naming an entity with only spaces now raises a clear validation error, instead of silently saving an entity with no name.
  • When your coach read text you'd brought into a track spread across several chapters, it could receive empty text and refuse to continue; it now reads the whole deposited text correctly.
  • When accepting Prima Lectio's deduced scenes fails — because it was already accepted, or no scenes were proposed — the message now explains precisely why, instead of a generic "try again".
  • A piece with only a title and no text yet could show "Not shared" on its own card even though your collection's share already included it; its sharing status is now correct.
  • Clicking "+ Add scene" repeatedly could stack empty scene markers side by side; if a titled scene still has to be dropped during a deletion, you're now told which one by name.

Retired

  • The floating "Session paused" bar has been retired: your writing session's state now shows only from the dedicated button in the editor's header.

v1.2.2

Fixed

  • A share you have revoked no longer accepts new invitations: revoking now closes access completely, the way it always implied it would.
  • Your collection's word target now shows both bounds you set (for example "39,000 - 91,000") instead of only the lower one; your progress is still graded against that lower bound.
  • Confirming and dismissing a training run's proposed completion at the same moment could leave your run stuck with no next step; only one of the two decisions is kept now.
  • On mobile, a circle's page overflowed to the right and cut off the title, description and buttons; everything now fits the screen.
  • In the editor, the paragraph lock hint no longer appears when hovering a scene separator, and no longer shows up on touch screens, where it covered your text.

Improved

  • On the "Connect an AI client" card on your home page, a dedicated button rechecks your connection status without reloading the page — handy if you finish connecting from another tab.

Fixed

  • Your collection's progress and word objective are now measured against the floor of your range, exactly as a piece or chapter already was: you may have been further along than the old display let on.
  • In the sidebar, the footer (your account and shortcuts) now stays anchored to the bottom instead of being pushed off-screen, and opening "More" no longer hides its own content or your account controls.
  • In the site's navigation menu, the Blog link now highlights correctly even when reading in English, and the Features link now respects your language.
  • Prima Lectio's style feedback now draws on the metrics actually measured on your text, instead of overlooking them.
  • Your session visibility preference now persists correctly in Settings and is respected when ending or reviewing a session.
  • Some icons — for relationship types, level badges, entity markers, and connect/share buttons — could be missing or take a moment to pop in; they now render immediately and reliably.
  • A note's preview text could disappear entirely, leaving just its title with nothing underneath; the preview now always stays visible, even while formatting is still loading.
  • Creating a new note to attach to a selected passage could trigger an unexpected page reload that broke the link between the note and the passage; this no longer happens.
  • On the waitlist signup form, the "which writing formats do you use most" question showed checkboxes with no labels at all; the format names now display correctly.

  • Your scenes can now be grouped into beats — a level of structure above them, which you create, group or undo from the plan or straight from the text, and which Prima Lectio reads and proposes.
  • Your beta readers can now comment on a specific passage of your manuscript: the passage is underlined, and the comment reveals on hover. Every piece of feedback lands on a page of its own, next to the text exactly as it was when you shared it — you navigate from comment to comment, reply, flag the ones still to handle, and jump straight to the matching passage in your manuscript.

  • Pressing Ctrl+Z right after opening a document no longer empties it; and if a save is about to erase a large part of your text, Inklyne now warns you before sending it, with the choice to save anyway or restore your text.
  • Typing no longer slows down in long documents: writing or deleting text stays smooth, even in a chapter several thousand words long.
  • Going back from your Entities, the Network graph or the Timeline now returns you to the right page.
  • Ending a session while switching projects no longer opens two session reviews stacked on top of each other.
  • Prima Lectio's "Your text, as read" panel no longer opens with every paragraph blank.
  • The "Chapter unlocked" and "Standing advanced" notifications now actually reach you.
  • On a track, the "read" badge now only marks the readings you actually opened, and it survives a page reload.
