You connect your own AI to your Inklyne account, and it reads each chapter with Prima Lectio and tells you what holds and what doesn't, without ever writing for you. When the text is ready, you share it with readers of your choice, who comment on it passage by passage. The Atelier, finally, offers guided writing tracks for stretches with no project underway, or when one craft move keeps resisting you.

You connect Claude to your Inklyne account in a couple of minutes, and Inklyne walks you through it; a free Claude account usually covers one or two chapter readings a day. Your AI then reads each chapter with Prima Lectio, against craft criteria (core, structure, scenes, characters, style), and tells you what holds, what snags and why, instead of giving you a black-box score.

Yes, with any AI tool that accepts a custom MCP connector. You add it to your tool yourself by pasting in the Inklyne server address we give you. Claude is the only tool Inklyne walks you through step by step.

Because a conversation gets lost, while your manuscript has to last. With Inklyne, every reading stays filed with your manuscript: you pin its remarks to the passages they point at, in the Margins, and tick off its worklist as you revise. Your manuscript is protected too: every version is kept, can be restored, and goes into an offsite backup.

No, it never writes for you. Your AI reads and critiques your text, but it doesn't rewrite it and proposes no continuation, ending or title, so every word stays yours.

Inklyne sets no length limit. Prima Lectio reads your manuscript chapter by chapter, using your own Claude account; with a free account, expect one or two chapter readings a day as a rule.

The subscription starts with 7 days free, which you can extend to 21 days in total by completing a few onboarding steps. After that, a subscription funds a sustainable platform where your texts belong to you: when it's free forever, you are the product. The subscription is €9.99 a month or €99.99 a year, Prima Lectio included: the annual plan works out cheaper, and occasional promotions make it cheaper still.

Your texts are stored for you alone. Inklyne never sells them and only shares them with the beta readers you choose. Inklyne doesn't use them to train an AI, and in fact trains none: our job is helping you write. Readings go through your own Claude account, so you stay in control of your data. You can export or delete everything at any time.

The Atelier offers guided tracks built around a genre or a craft move: dialogue, mystery, heist, memoir and more. Each track breaks the practice into short exercises, every one with its own acceptance criteria, and your AI reviews each exercise against them. It's separate work for the writer who wants to isolate a move that keeps going wrong, a genre not yet written, or a stretch between two projects. The memoir track is open to everyone; the others are in beta.

Inklyne keeps community low-pressure: an activity feed to follow other writers and cheer their progress, beta readers who comment on precise passages, and Writing Circles for peer review. No algorithm, no metrics race.

For now, Inklyne is designed for individual writing. We are considering collaborative features in the future.
