How do I get started?

Create an account, open your manuscript workspace, and start writing or import an existing draft. When you're ready, ask Prima Lectio for its first reading — that's where your practice begins.

What is a training track?

A track is a guided program built around a genre or a craft skill — mystery, dialogue, heist, and more. Each track breaks the craft into a sequence of short exercises, every one with its own acceptance criteria, not just a writing prompt. The training atelier is currently in private beta.

How does the reader work?

Prima Lectio works best with the AI client you already use: connect Claude (or ChatGPT, or another MCP client) to Inklyne in a couple of minutes — Inklyne walks you through the setup, and what that client allows depends on your own plan with it. It then reads your manuscript against real craft criteria — theme, structure, scenes, characters, style — and gives you honest, specific feedback from the assistant you already trust, not a black-box score. You can also ask for a reading directly from a piece's page, within your monthly allowance, without connecting anything.

What is the writer profile?

A living picture of your craft, built from every read — pacing, voice, structure, and more. The writer profile is part of the training atelier, currently in private beta.

Is the training atelier open?

Not yet, for everyone. The atelier — guided tracks, drills, the writer profile — is in private beta while we work out the kinks with a small circle of writers. What's open the moment you sign up: the manuscript workspace, Prima Lectio readings, and sharing with beta readers.

What can I write on Inklyne?

From daily journaling to longer projects — stories, novels, essays, screenplays. The Journal plan covers everyday writing; the Complete plan unlocks every project type and a full writing workspace.

Inklyne starts with a free trial of 7 days, which you can extend up to 21 days in total by completing a few onboarding steps. After that, a subscription keeps the platform sustainable and your texts truly yours — when something is free forever, you become the product. Plans start at EUR 2.99/month. The training atelier, in private beta, isn't part of that offer yet.

Can I write on all my devices?

Yes, your writings and sessions are automatically synchronized.

How does the community work?

Inklyne keeps community gentle and low-pressure — it's there to support the simple act of writing, not to chase likes. You'll find an activity feed to follow other writers, cheer their progress, and feel part of a quiet community building the same habit. Constructive feedback mechanisms are coming for those who want them. No algorithm, no metrics race — just encouragement.

Can I write as a team?

For now, Inklyne is designed for individual writing. But we are considering collaborative features in the future.

How is my data protected?

We take your data seriously. Your writing is never shared, never sold, and never used to train anyone's models — every text you write belongs entirely to you. You can export it or delete it whenever you want.

Can I export my texts?

Yes, you can export your writings in different formats (MD, DOCX, PDF) to save or share them.

What happens to my texts if I cancel my subscription?

They stay yours. You can export everything at any time, in several formats, to keep your writing wherever you go next.

Is Inklyne available in several languages?

For now, Inklyne is available in French and English. Other languages will be added soon.
