The AI reader that will never write a line for you

Inklyne reads your whole manuscript: theme, structure, scenes, characters, style. It tells you where it breaks down and why. The words, and the skill they build, stay entirely yours.

No account needed — straight into the editor.

The Inklyne writing workspace

Where Inklyne stands

An AI that reads you. Never one that replaces you.

AI can be a real opportunity for creative writing — as long as it's held inside guardrails. That's what Inklyne builds around your manuscript: your reader takes in what you actually wrote, holds it against real craft criteria, and hands back exactly what isn't working yet. It only nudges you in the right direction — the artistic call stays yours to make, including the call to overrule it. The rewriting is yours too, and that is precisely where the skill gets built.

What your reader does

  • Reads a whole manuscript, not an isolated paragraph
  • Names what's off: a blurry theme, a sagging second act, a character with nothing at stake, a scene without conflict
  • Quotes your own text to back up every note
  • Keeps your writer profile current: your strengths, your blind spots

What it will never do

  • Write a sentence for you
  • Rewrite your text into a "better" version
  • Suggest a continuation, an ending, or a title
  • Use your pages to train a model

See it in action

A calm, focused space that grows with your practice — from your first Prima Lectio reading to a finished manuscript.

The training run: your track's next exercise, its brief, and your reader's feedback — all in one place.

The training run: your track's next exercise, its brief, and your reader's feedback — all in one place.

A complete workspace for seeing a piece through to the end.

The tree that holds your manuscript, the read that tells you where it stands, and the readers who walk with you — everything it takes to keep moving, piece after piece.

A manuscript workspace built for the long haul

Collections, chapters, scenes: organize a long piece your way, reorder it by drag-and-drop, and always keep the whole shape in view.

An AI reader that takes in the whole manuscript

Prima Lectio reads your text end to end — theme, structure, scenes, characters, style — and gives you reasoned feedback, not a generic grade. It works with the AI client you already use (Claude, ChatGPT…), or directly from your piece within your monthly allowance. Inklyne never uses your texts to train a model.

Beta readers on your manuscript

Share a snapshot of your manuscript with readers you trust, piece by piece if you want, and get their comments anchored right on the text.

Import, export, version history

Import a draft (MD, DOCX, ODT), export it whenever you like, and reach back into any earlier version thanks to server-side history — restorable in one click.

A practice that adapts to you

Open-ended, timed, or interval sessions: pick the mode that matches your focus in the moment, session after session.

Circles for peer feedback

Join a circle and have other writers review your work in progress, for structured feedback while you're still writing.

The practice that carries your training

Tracks and drills need a home to live in. Inklyne is that space — a place to keep showing up, finish what you start, and get read, whether by your reader or by other writers.

A calm editor that remembers your story

Write in a calm, focused editor built for long projects. Characters, places, and your timeline stay linked to the text as you write — so a detail from chapter three is one click away, not a re-read.

Finish your texts

The final text is never written in one go. Inklyne guides you through the essential postures of writing (exploration, editing, assembling, pruning), to help you complete your projects, piece by piece.

Your words don't get lost

Losing a writer's text is the one unforgivable failure. That's a commitment, not just another feature: your writing goes to encrypted offsite backups continuously, without you having to think about it.

Keep the pace

Your creativity needs regularity. Inklyne helps you establish and maintain a writing rhythm. Visualize your sessions and track your commitment day by day. A simple way to stay connected to your writing projects.

What do you want to write?

Inklyne welcomes your writing projects and adapts to the needs of each format.

The questions we get first

Does Inklyne write for me?

No, never. Inklyne's reader takes in what you wrote and tells you what isn't working yet, quoting your own text. It produces no sentence, no continuation, no rewrite. That's a design choice, not a technical limit: it's your rewrites that make you better.

How does the reader work?

You connect the AI client you already use — Claude, ChatGPT or another — to Inklyne in two minutes, and Inklyne walks you through the setup; what that client allows depends on your own plan with it. Prima Lectio then reads your manuscript against real craft criteria — theme, structure, scenes, characters, style — and returns reasoned, specific feedback, not a black-box score. You can also ask for a reading directly from a piece's page, within your monthly allowance, without connecting anything.

Are my texts used to train an AI?

Not by Inklyne: we never store or reuse it to train anything, and we never share or sell it. A reading routed through your own AI client is subject to that provider's settings, worth checking if you want the same guarantee on that side. You can export or delete your texts at any time.
