I've always wanted to do two things seriously: run and write stories. For years, I did both sporadically. A jog here, a few lines there. The result? No progress, little pleasure, nothing built.
I thought I lacked willpower. Then one day, I actually started running. Three to four times a week for two years now. Training for my first marathon. Not for performance, but for what it brings me.
What changed? Tools like Garmin and Strava. Every outing counts. Every step accumulates. The desire to continue comes back on its own.
